The Emerald Soča River
The Soča River is the heart and soul of the valley. Its distinct emerald green color makes it one of the most beautiful rivers in Europe. Rafting, kayaking, and canyoning enthusiasts flock here to experience its crystal-clear waters.

- Italian Charnel House: The military memorial on The Walk of Peace from the Alps to the Adriatic, which is the only ossuary of fallen Italian soldiers in Slovenia, was opened in 1938 by Benito Mussolini
- Kozjak Waterfall: A 15-meter-high waterfall in a dark, stony chamber
- Kobarid Museum: Presentation of the Isonzo Front heritage from the First World War
- River Nadiza: The clear pools and well-kept bathing areas of one of the cleanest and warmest Alpine rivers invite you to jump into the water, swim and lie in the shade
- Breginj Museum: Breginj Museum, a complex of two-story stone houses intertwined with corridors, is an architectural and ethnological monument (also bar and some food during season)
- Boka Waterfall: The most water-rich and mightiest Slovenian waterfall at 144 meters
- Virje Waterfall: A 12-meter-high waterfall with a fairy-tale pool
- The Sunik water grove: This relaxing corner of water energies in the middle of the pristine nature of the Triglav National Park is an excellent idea for a nature trip
- Dom Trenta: Visit the Trenta museum and the Triglav National Park Information Centre
- The Julius Kugy Memorial: This majestic bronze figure, dedicated to dr. Julius Kugy, the discoverer and researcher of the Julian Alps, tells a story about the love for the mountains and the search for the mysterious flower Scabiosa trenta
- The Kluze Castle: This majestic fort above the Koritnica gorge is one of the most visited cultural sights in the Soča valley. It is an important monument to the defence against Turkish invasions, Napoleon’s army and attacks during World War I
- Juliana Alpine Botanical Garden: Juliana is the oldest Alpine botanical garden in a natural environment in Slovenian territory. It was founded in 1926 by Albert Bois de Chesne
- Mangartsko sedlo: The highest alpine road in Slovenia leads to a botanically rich area with an incredible view, located under Mangart, the third highest peak in Slovenia
